Was I right, or was I right?

When I say the pilot missed the briefing, he indeed did just that, according to MSNBC:
The pilot who caused a midday panic in Washington on Wednesday failed to get briefings about the weather and restricted airspace and became lost minutes after leaving a Pennsylvania airport, Federal Aviation Administration records show.

It's the little things that make life worthwhile...

  • I understand the FAA will pull his license and then, if he wants to fly again, he has to start over with basic flight school lessons. You have to wonder, as he's almost 70, if it's worth it.

Most airlines, interestingly, force their pilots to retire at 60.

  • Actually ~ "I missed the briefing" ~ is going to be my own latest lame excuse in life...

I like it. It shall come in handy, no doubt.
